MOUNTING YARD – FLEMINGTON 24 JUNE

TSARITSA appears to have settled in well to Chris Waller’s Melbourne base and paraded well on Saturday. Importantly her racing manners were also good and she should improve next time out with that anti-clockwise run under her belt

URBAN RULER always carries a bit of condition but is improving marginally with each run and racing in good form. He ran well from back in the field on Saturday and that run should have him at his top for the series final back at Flemington on 8 July.

JUMP OUTS – FLEMINGTON 23 JUNE

SPEARHEAD has been racing well without much luck and his pattern of getting back in the field is certain to be a contributing factor. Saab Hasan applied the blinkers in a jump out last Friday and after beginning well he controlled the heat from the front to win impressively. Look for him to step out with the blinkers on shortly.

Two unraced two year olds form the Hayes and Dabernig partnership caught the eye in the same jump out last week. FIVE KINGDOM (Uncle Mo gelding) and TAQDEES (Redoute’s Choice filly) share the honours in their heat and both look capable of adding to the stable’s long list of juvenile winners before season’s end.

JUMP OUTS – FLEMINGTON 16 JUNE

SMART COUPE feature in last week’s review and she backed up that eye catching performance with another jump out victory last Friday. The two year old daughter of Smart Missile was given a pretty easy time winning her heat in slower than average last Friday but looks ready to run well on debut for The Ellerton and Zahra stable very soon

BLACK DIAMOND GIRL is a recent addition the Ellerton and Zahra stable and she looks to have settled in nicely to her new surroundings. She recorded the quickest time of the morning in winning her second jump out in recent weeks last Friday and is sure to give them something to chase when she resumes in the near future
